On September 11, the Xi'an-Yan'an High Speed Railway officially entered the integrated testing and commissioning phase. As the first high-speed railway in the old revolutionary base area of northern Shaanxi, the railway is an important part of the Baotou-Yinchuan-Haikou High Speed Railway corridor within the national high-speed railway network. The line has a total length of 299.8 kilometers, built to double-track high-speed railway standards, with a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once completed, travel time between Xi'an and Yan'an will be shortened from 2.5 hours to about 1 hour, which will improve the national high-speed railway layout and contribute to high-quality development in western China.
